Barbados Eye Study

EyeWorld Magazine:: "African patients with open-angle glaucoma and posterior subcapsular cataracts as well as those who remain aphakic after cataract surgery report a lower visual quality of life than those without these conditions, according to Suh-Yuh Wu, research assistant professor of preventative ophthalmology, Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, N.Y. These were among some of the key findings brought to light in a study published in the April 2008 issue of Investigational Ophthalmology and Visual Science."
